Processing Your Application
Once you have done your research on the course and university, you need to complete an application form. The University will process your suitability to undertake the course. If entry requirements are met and your application is suitable, they will make an offer of enrolment. A written offer of enrolment will be provided to you. Some of universities can charge you an application fee for the processing of your enrolment application. If your application for enrolment is unsuccessful the application fee will not be refunded.
Fill out an Application Form and send us the Documents Relevant to your Application to the contact details. You can obtain an application form from us or apply online through this web site. You need to send us original documents even if you’ve uploaded documents by file.
Receiving & Accepting Your Offer
Receiving a Letter of Offer
The University will assess your application and supporting documents then advise you whether you meet the entry requirements or not. If successful, the university will send you a letter of offer.
Accepting Offer
If there are no conditions specified on your offer letter, you may accept the offer immediately. Otherwise, you need to meet the conditions specified on your offer letter before you can accept the offer of enrolment.
* Examples of conditions are:
-Supplying a IELTS test score that equal to or better then specified.
-Providing an Academic transcript of recently completed study or certified documents.
Paying the Tuition Fee
Submit the signed acceptation form and pay the specified deposit (usually the first semester’s tuition fee + Overseas Student Health Cover).
Applying For the Visa
Before you can apply for a visa, you should get a eCOE (Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment) from the education provider you applied for.
International students must have a valid student visa for the duration of their studies in Australia. You should check with the Australian Embassy in your country to see if you are eligible to apply for a student visa before obtaining official confirmation of your enrolment and paying tuition fees. You will only be issued with a student visa for study in Australia if you seek to undertake a full-time course that is accredited and registered by the Australian Government. The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) also has offices in many countries, check their website for locations.
Arranging Airport Pick up & Accommodation
If you need to arrange Accommodation and Airport pick up, please contact JMISSC. The confirmation of airport pick up and accommodation should be done before 2 weeks prior departure from your country.
Arrival
-Check the homestay or share accommodation regulation with your host.
-Check your public transportation from your place to school or university.
-Obtain Emergency details in your local area.
-Arrange a mobile to be contacted by your family (You can buy mobile phone or SIM card at JMISSC offices in your home country).
